Student Comments about the Process
“Kinda awkward hearing your teacher’s voice without seeing her, but I’m getting used to it.”
“I think I understood better than I normally do.”
“This worked at least as well for me as how we would normally do it.”
“I don’t know if it’s just because it’s new, but this seems good…pretty cool.”
“This feels more personal…more one on one…and also at my level than when a teacher has to talk to everybody at once; doing it this way I can slow down or go back for the stuff that I need.”
“I think seeing Ms. Patrick do things in the room and this are both good. Doing this it seemed like what she was showing me was right in front of me, right here.”
“Learning like this works better for me. In class, if the teacher’s talking to everyone and there are people around me, I get distracted easily. Like this, it’s more one on one…it locks me in and helps me focus because it’s like it’s just us.”
Thank you to Fox Demoisey for creation and implementation of this idea.
